He is survived by: his wife Joann Burris Almond; his sons, Kem Floyd Almond (Tammy) of Norwood and Ladd Leslie Almond of Albemarle; his siblings, Gerald Almond (Ann) of Florida and Shirley Smith of Albemarle; his grandchildren, Brandon Almond (Angela), Colby Almond (Susan), Carson Almond, Milas Almond and Mackenzie Almond; and his great grandchild Silas Almond.
