It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jannie Chambers (Albemarle, North Carolina), who passed away on June 10, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bobby" and Lessie Leake Rush; her husband Ulas Chambers; her daughter Loretta Chambers; and her siblings, Rodema Lilly, Henry Rush and Monroe Pemberton.
She is survived by: her children, Greatha Barrett, Mary Brown, Badin, Edith Flake (Jeffrey), Lantie Chambers, Sonja White, Winston-Salem, James Rush (JoAnn) of Albemarle, Star of Albemarle, William Chambers of Albemarle and Carl Chambers (Maline) of Albemarle; her granddaughter Takia Chambers; and her niece Tamia Little. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; forty-eight great grandchildren; ten great great-grandchildren.
