She is survived by: her husband Roland Burden of Albemarle; her children, Kirsten and Keanan Grieser of Raleigh; her parents, Wolfgang Heise and Rosita Heise of Charlotte; her brother Thorsten Heise (Tracey); her siblings' children, Nicholas and Alexandra of Charlotte; her sister Nicolette Endisch (Stefan); her nephew Christian of Buerstadt, Germany; and her mother-in-law Helen Fuller-Grieser.
