He is survived by: his parent Faye Eunice Ballard Ragsdale; his daughters, Ryan Ragsdale and Kelly Jasper; his sisters, Toby R. Efird of Albemarle and Janie R. Torrence; and his grandchildren, Charlotte Jasper, Andrew Ragsdale, Chandler Ragsdale, Carson Ragsdale and Mary Cahill.
