He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Brady Kimrey and Hazel Maxine Mauldin Kimrey; and his brother William Jerry Kimrey. He is survived by: his brother Ernest Kimrey of Albemarle; his grandchildren, Shannon Poplin, Holly Poplin, William Poplin, Laura Carriker, Phillip Holt and Bradley Holt; and his great grandchildren, Maggie, Riley, Logan, Cameron, Liam, Gabriel and Nathaniel.
