It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lavaughn Elwood Lowder (Albemarle, North Carolina), who passed away on June 3, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Dean Shaw; and his siblings, Cameron, Weldon Lowder and Vina Ruth Lowder Simpson. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Lowder of Albemarle and Michael Lowder (Brenda) of Johnson City, Tennessee; and his grandson Matthew Lowder of Johnson City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the new Fellowship Building fund at Salem United Methodist Church.
