He is survived by: his sisters, Virginia Thomas and Bessie Rae Garmon; his stepdaughters, Tonya Renee Buchanon and Nicky Denise Simmons; and his nephews, Jimmy Thomas and Eric Thomas. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren.
