She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Vanhoy; and her siblings, Roy Fraley, Wayne Fraley, Doris Sides and Dorothy Huneycutt.
She is survived by: her children, Faye Blalock of Albemarle, Janice Binkley McCoy (Dene) of Alabama, Sharon Barbee Griggs (Ronnie) of Lexington and Bud Vanhoy (Jackie) of Rockwell. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
