She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Jacob Everhart and Dovie Loretta Everhart; her son Vernon Clyde Whitley, Jr.; and her siblings, Dewey Abraham Everhart, Richard Everhart, Rudolph Everhart and Allene Gallimore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Cox (Sherman) of Troy and Carolyn McCann (Jim) of Oregon; her grandchildren, Nikki Whitley, Alex Whitley, Magan Greene, Amanda Whitley, Dustin Huneycutt, Michael Hartsell and James McCann; and her sisters, Gladys Eudy and Sylvia Hunsucker. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
