It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Hess Hock of Albemarle, North Carolina, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Myrtle Blankenship. She is survived by: her husband Robert Earl Hock of Albemarle; her children, Fred Jones (Sue) of Raleigh, NC and Kay Pepper-Jones (C. J.) of Charlotte, NC; her stepdaughters, Catherine Hock of Wilmington, NC and Amy McGowan (Randy) of Haw River, NC; and her grandchildren, Chris Jones of Raleigh and Stephen Jones of Goldsboro. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
