She was predeceased by: her parents, Pierce Almond and Jennie Andrews Almond; her husband Clarence Russell Palmer; and her children, Tony Palmer and Sherrie Palmer Crawford.
She is survived by: her daughter Dianne Palmer Joyce (Steve) of Denver, NC; and her grandchildren, Amy Hummell (Shaun) of Salisbury and Brian Crawford (Crystal) of Albemarle. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
