She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Margaret Shankle and Romania Shankle; her siblings, Jessie Bruton, Lewis Shankle and Frankie Shankle; her daughters, Tamiko Miller (Maurice) of Mount Gilead and Aerial Watson (Derrick); her grandchildren, Bryan Shankle-Drye, Xavier Thompson and Aubreyelle Thomas; her siblings, Sylvia James (Jonathan) of Mooresville, Ricky (Veronica) of Albemarle and Richard (Mary) of Poinciana, FL.; her cousin Evelyn Long of Gastonia; and her close friends, Stephanie Dumas of Mount Gilead and Vivian Little of Oakboro. She was also cherished by other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
