He is survived by: his children, Daniel "Koty" Dakota Earnhardt of Albemarle, Marie Xiong (Tomich) of Albemarle, Stephanie McKethan of Albemarle and Kristal Lee of Albemarle; his sister Alice Faye Speights of Albemarle; his sister-in-law Bessie Burris of Albemarle; and his former spouse Pamela Earnhardt of Albemarle. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
