It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Lefler Whittington (Albemarle, North Carolina), who passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Rachel Lefler shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rachel Lefler farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulysses Lefler and Zona Lefler; and her son Chad Whittington (Howard Whittington). She is survived by: her husband Howard Whittington; and her children, Russell Whittington of Greensboro, NC and Kendra Whittington of Greensboro, NC..
