He is survived by: his parent Flora Tina Whitley Thompson; his wife Virginia Laton Thompson; his daughter Lisa Thompson Agner (Tommy) of Salisbury, NC; his sister Lucille Thompson Efird of Albemarle, NC; and his grandchildren, Dusty Agner and Troy Agner.
