She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Houston Lefler and Lula Sides Lefler; her husband John Clifton Burleson; her children, Wayne Burleson of New London, NC, Jerry D. Burleson of Albemarle, NC and Pat Leonard (Perry) of Badin, NC; and her siblings, Joyce Roberson of Albemarle, NC, Bob Lefler, Betty Drye and Lillian Lisk. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
