He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Elwood Burleson Sr. and Vergie Earnhardt Benner; his former wife Charlotte Davis Burleson; and his brother Jerry Burleson. He is survived by: his wives, Shirwood Ministries and Shirley Yates Burleson; his children, Kenneth E. Burleson of Concord and Sandra Gouge of Albemarle; his stepson Daniel C. Lewis; and his siblings, John R. Burleson of Greensboro, NC, Barbara Bailey of Fuquay Varina, NC and Dian Deal of Lexington, NC. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
