She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Cole Rowland and Bertha Jane Rowland; her husband Harold Craig Cooke, Jr.; and her daughter Jan Cooke. She is survived by: her sons, Kent Cooke (Cindy) of Albemarle and Alan Cooke of Concord; and her grandchildren, Maggie Bird (John), Liza Elsner (Mike), Stacy Lee (Jack) and Scott Cooke (Jessica). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
