She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Brinson and Annie Dennis Brinson; and her husband Howard Caudill. She is survived by: her daughter Vanessa Merck; and her siblings, Retha Farmer, Ann Curlie (Danny), Jewell Smith and Johnny Brinson (Brenda). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
