She is survived by: her parent Winfred Oxford Carswell; her children, Robin Lamar Foster of Charlotte, Jan Foster Burleyson (Don) of Albemarle and Jill Foster Karam (Eddie) of Huntersville; her grandchildren, Hope Kilgo, Brad Kilgo and Wilson Karam; her brother-in-law George Foster (Cheryl); and her nephew Alan Foster.
