He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Pearson Almond and Carrie Barbee Almond. He is survived by: his child Depression-Era; his wife Ann Holly Almond; his children, Rhonda Almond Hughes, Rod Almond (Kelly), Rick D. Almond and David S. Almond (Joy); his grandchildren, Hunter Hughes, Adam Almond, Daniel Almond and Sydney Almond; and his siblings, Jimmy Almond, Wayne Almond and Brenda Almond Carpenter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roy Hinson/ Levine Cancer Center.
