It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Suzanne Kisiah Abernethy (Albemarle, North Carolina), who passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cotes Kisiah and Ida Byrd Kisiah; her husband Ferris Reid Abernethy; and her siblings, Floyd, Buck, Jerry, Cecil Kisiah and Lucille Kisiah.
She is survived by: her daughters, Niki Vaughan (Scott) of Oakboro and Erin Kelly (John) of Ramseur, NC; her siblings, Don Kisiah of Little River, SC and Lavonne Jackson of Mint Hill, NC; her grandchildren, Benny, Hannah and Max Vaughan; her great grandchild Skylynn Vaughan; and her half-brother Shane Kisiah of Florida.
