She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Furr and Sarah Cleonia Burris Furr; her husband Alvin Lee Smith; her siblings, Floyd Furr, Joe Furr, Leonard Furr, Tim Furr, Paulie Furr, Beatrice Barrow and Rachel Liles; her son-in-law Larry McLester; and her great grandchild Tyler McDaniel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Smith Faulkner (William) of Albemarle, Loretta Smith McLester of Albemarle and Linda Smith McDaniel (Eddy) of Albemarle; her sisters, Hazel Little of Locust and Jane Little of Albemarle; her sisters-in-law, Grace Furr, Autie Furr and Peggy Furr; and her grandchildren, Allen McLester, Bryan Faulkner, Todd Faulkner, Eddy McDaniel II, Jennifer Myers and Kevin Faulkner. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
