It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennie Parris Sluder of Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on April 30, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Ervin and Cordelia "Delia" Haney Parris; her husband Rev. Charlie W. Sluder; and her siblings, Edith, Gladys Parris, Lillian Redmon, Ora Sluder, Clayton, Glenn, Dennis and Tony Parris.

She is survived by : her daughter Regina Sluder. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
