It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Harrington (Alexander, North Carolina), who passed away on May 6, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elisha Clay and Mammie Lee Kerley Harrington of Alexander County; her daughter Sandra Fay Harrington; her son-in-law John Munday of Alexander County; and her brothers, William Adam Harrington, Crafton Harrington and Joseph Bard "J. B.".
She is survived by : her sisters, Irene H. Jones and Ernesteen "Teen" H. Mitchell of Alexander County; her husband Harold Clayton Harrington; her children, Penny H. Munday of Alexander County and James Harold Harrington; her granddaughters, Lisa Marie Munday of Alexander County and Jeannie Fay Harrington Coffey (Dustin) of Farmville; her sisters, Mary H. Milstead, Shirley H. Brown of Alexander County and Jeannie H. Cropley of Fayettville; and her brother-in-law Raymond Harrington (Gaynell) of Alexander County. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great- nieces and nephews, great-great- nieces and nephews, several cousins and friends.
