It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Kathleen McKinney (Angier, North Carolina), born in Coats, North Carolina, who passed away on May 14, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Elbert Lewis McKinney; and her son-in-law Cecil Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Lane McKinney (Bonnie), Teddy Stewart McKinney (Gail) and Annette McKinney Johnson; and her grandchildren, Traci McKinney, Jonathan McKinney (Beth), Angela McKinney Robertson (Chad), Heather McKinney Simmons (John), Matthew Stewart McKinney (Stephanie), Rebecca Cooper McKinney (Brad) and Scotty Mac Johnson. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
