He was predeceased by: his parents, John Daniel Johnson and Betty Yow Jones; his daughter Jennifer Johnson Pope; and his brother Johnny Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Pam Johnson; his son Daniel Johnson (Priscilla) of Angier; his grandchildren, Austin Lee Caroll, Caitlin Pope, Nathan Pope, Kayla Johnson and Cole Johnson; and his siblings, Rose Pace and David Johnson (Marie) of Garner.
