It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iva Jean Kemp Marshburn (Archdale, North Carolina), who passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Kemp and Ruth Kemp; her husband Vernon Lee Marshburn; her siblings, Tommy, Richard, David Kemp and Peggy Weaver; and her grandson Russell Marshburn.
She is survived by: her sons, Lee Marshburn (Tammy) of Trinity, NC, Jamey Marshburn (Pam) of Trinity, NC and Phillip Marshburn (Tracy) of Walnut Cove, NC.; her grandchildren, Chelley Sonner (Nehemiah), Brittany Marshburn and Scott Marshburn; and her great grandchild Kayleigh Sonner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.
