She was predeceased by: her parents, William Herman and Stella Mae Taylor Shackelford; her husband Grover A. Skeen; her son Harold Wayne Peele, Jr.; and her close friend Auldie Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Peele Shepherd (Mark) and Kevin Peele (Melinda); her stepdaughter Stephanie Skeen Cole (Hodge); her grandchildren, Patrick Kellison, Aresa Samuel Erb (Eric), Kimberly Samuel Nelson (David), Daniel Peele (Becky) and Bryan Peele; her great grandchildren, Taylor Kellison, Michael Kellison, Abigail Erb, Nathanael Erb, Hannah Erb, Gabriella Erb and Jonah Peele; and her sister Ann Frazier (Wayne).
