He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilson and Cora Lethgo McCarrell. He is survived by: his wife Myrion Carey McCarrell; his granddaughter Sondra Woods of Burlington; and his brothers-in-law, Lindsey Carey of Archdale and Byron Carey of Archdale. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
