He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyle Sanders and Helen McAbee Sanders. He is survived by: his children, Dena Walters (Chris) and Derek Sanders (Samantha); the mother of his children Sandra Owen; and his sisters, Emily Ussery and Jeanette Wilkes. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
