It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leola Baker (Archdale, North Carolina), born in Hartford, Tennessee, who passed away on January 8, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gus Black and Flossie Simmons Black; her husband Rex Baker; her siblings, Geneva Crum, Cynthia Black, Emma Jean Black, Eulen, Woodrow and Bige Black; her sons, Eddie Baker (Diana Carrol) of Trinity, Eric Baker of Archdale, Keith Baker (Teresa) of Archdale and Ronald Baker of Walnut Cove; her sister Lisa Frisbee of Hartford, TN; her grandchildren, Alex Baker (Stephanie), Karly Baker, Kasey Baker, Elizabeth Baker, Samantha Ore (Ben) and Matthew Baker (Kelley); her great grandchildren, Mia Baker and Jack Portis; her nieces, Linda Ramsey and Betty Stanley; and her close friend Markie.
