He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl McHenry and Helen Cole McHenry; and his siblings, Frieda Mae McHenry, Nadine Clark, Maxine Skidmore and Bob McHenry.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Davis McHenry; his children, Carol Deese, Susan Whitney (Rod), Alan McHenry (Diana) and Steve McHenry (Chrissy); his siblings, Russell McHenry (Kyong), Tom McHenry (Patty) and Jo Ann Davis (Bill); his grandchildren, Cameron, Cassie, Mason, Lauren, Andrea, Ashley, Raegan, Morgan, Kelly, Allison, Zachary and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, MaKensie, Carolina, Brooklyn, Skylar, Landon, Marcus, Charlotte, Addison, Liam and Ronin.
