She was predeceased by: her parents, Wlyma Tweed (Red) and Frank Mickalunas; her brother James Mickalunas; and her children, Douglas Allen Lindsey and Tammy Lindsey.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Lindsey of Fletcher, NC and Thomas Lindsey; her great grandchildren, Christy Lindsey (Jesse Sauvé), Daniel Surratt, Brittany Cross (Shane Cross), Steven Lindsey, Samantha Lindsey and Tyler Lindsey; and her pet Tiddels (Sparkles). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704). A reception will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
