He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert and Lois Mary Wright Ballard; and his wife Frankie Surrett Ballard. He is survived by: his children, Linda Gregory, Pattie Bremekamp, Doug Lance and Max E. Ballard, Jr.; and his great great grandchild Renee Ledford.
