It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Kinley Shackelford of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Wayne Shackelford; her son Shanon Dale Shackelford; her parents, Lester Kinley and Roxie Wall Kinley; and her brother William Eugene Kinley.
She is survived by: her son Brian Lane Shackelford (Kim) of Asheboro; her siblings, Sharon Jane Jones of High Point and Wayne Kinley (Samantha) of High Point; her grandchildren, Zachary Clark (Caroline), Payton Beeson (Christian), Ashley Garbarz (Michael), Parker Shackelford and Hunter Shackelford; and her great grandchild Wylder Beeson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home (147 Coleridge Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Jordan Memorial United Methodist Church (1511 Main St, Ramseur, NC 27316).
