He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Martin and Naomi Dillon Pugh; his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Fleming Pugh; his children, Adrian Pugh Pettitt of Charlottesville, Virginia and Riley Alan Pugh of Reidsville; his stepson George Franklin Henne of Lexington; his grandchildren, Finley Pettitt, Hayden Pettitt, Zachary Pugh, Madison Pugh, Daphne Henne, Ivana Akins and Jarod Henne; and his siblings, Janice Craft of Oakridge, Tennessee and Michael Pugh of Decatur.
