James Raymond Reagon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Raymond Reagon (Asheboro, North Carolina), who passed away on May 2, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Reagon; his parents, Charlie Reagan and Margaret McCammon Reagan; his sister Jerolene Geiger; and his brother-in-law Leonard Hawks.
He is survived by: his children, James Reagon Jr. of Panama City, FL, Steve Reagon of Asheboro, Kristi Staley (Anthony) of Franklinville and Terri Lawrence of Asheboro; his siblings, Joann Hawks of Kentucky and Larry Reagan (Linda) of Illinois; his grandchildren, Alex Shoup (Durand), Zack Beane (Vanessa), Regan Lawrence (Brandon Sheron) and Sean Lawrence; and his great grandchildren, Ally and Christian. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requests that donations be made in Jim's honor to the Cone Health Cancer Center at MedCenter Asheboro, 1319 Spero Road Suite 101, Asheboro, NC 27205.
