She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie Neal Kennedy; her siblings, Linda Kay and Doug Branson; and her parents, Armp Branson and Lura Trogdon Branson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bonita Sheppard (Mike) and Knikki Kennedy; her grandchildren, Katherine King (John), Zachary Sheppard, Gracie Jarrell, Branson Jarrell and Kendall Jarrell; her sister Phyliss Petty (Bill); and her friend Jimmy Wilkinson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
The family requests that memorial donations be made in Janice's memory to Browers Wesleyan Church, 1734 Mack Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205.
