She was predeceased by: her parents, J. B. Meadows and Cumi Shelton Meadows; her husband Troy Samuel Collins; her brothers, Larry Meadows, Charlie Meadows, Don Meadows and Herschel Meadows; and her grandson David L. Trammel Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Clara Collins, Debra Johnston (Tommy), Peggy Lynn (Gary), Sandy Frisbee (Sanford) and Hugh Green (Sharon); her grandchildren, Michael Burrell (Jennifer), Eddie Burrell, Jennifer Burrell Stimpson (Lee), Susan Trammel, Angela Johnston (Robbie), Brian Johnston and Callie Green; and her brother Thomas Meadows. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Anders-Rice Funeral Home (1428 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
