He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Peoples Silver; his daughters, Bunnie Silver of Asheville and Pauline Thrash (Rick); his grandchildren, Lola Thrash of Asheville and Ricky Thrash of Asheville; and his brother Paul Silver (Margaret) of Spruce Pine.
