It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Gilbert of Asheville, North Carolina, born in Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on July 20, 2020, at the age of 24, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Franklin Coleman Gilbert and Betty Lee Gilbert. He is survived by : his parents, Kevin Lynn Gilbert and Amy Michelle Cantrell Gilbert of Bristol, VA.; his sister Gwendolyn Fries (Jesse) of Bristol, TN; his niece Marnie Elaine Fries; his grandparents, Pamela Sue Cantrell "Meme" and James E. Cantrell of Bristol, TN; and his close friend Kyle Oyer (Christian Halla).
