She is survived by: her son David Freeman Watkins (Diane); her grandchildren, Allison Watkins (Justin) and Andrew Gosnell (Geni); her great grandchildren, Autumn, Brantley, Anthony and Cyleigh; and her sisters, Betty and Fannie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
