She was predeceased by: her brothers, Richard Ensley and Jerry Ensley. She is survived by: her husband Chaplain Gerard "Gerry" Smith; her sons, James Smith (Traci) and Greg Smith (Dixie); her grandchildren, Kayli Bates, Jessica Simmons, Tyler Lattimore and Taylor Kelton; and her close friend Judy Brigman. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
