It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geneva Hensley Wilson of Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Berry Hensley and Edith Hensley; her husband John Wayne Wilson; her daughter Rhonda S. Freeborn; and her sister Marie Haney.

She is survived by : her son Jack D. Wilson (Charlene); her siblings, Alma Forbes (Gary), Edmon, Herman (Linda) and Cline Hensley Jr. (Gwen); and her grandchildren, John, Hannah, Toby, Cody, Caroline, Holly and Dion.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Family Funeral Services (17 Merrimon Ave, Weaverville, NC 28787). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 901 Aiken Rd, Asheville, NC 28804.
