She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ernest McKinney and Myrtle Lula Sherlin McKinney; her husband Tom Carson Sr.; her former husband Joseph Larkin Chandler; her siblings, Dorothy Wike of Taylorsville, NC, Mary Carrigan of Taylorsville, NC, Betty Sherlin of Barnardsville, NC, Myrtle Brown of Asheville, NC and David McKinney of Asheville, NC; her stepson Gary Melvin Moore of Greenville, SC; and her great grandchild Blake Landon Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Freddy Dean Moore (Amy), Billie Jean McKinney Hollifield of Hendersonville, NC, Tom James Franklin Moore of Marcelina, MO, Pamela Lou Ellen Moore of Candler, NC, Carson Dean Moore of Asheville, NC, Geneva and Elaine Parker (Roger) of Marshall, NC; her stepdaughter Debbie Fowler (Bruce) of Asheville, NC; and her siblings, Mae Maynor of Barnardsville, NC, Gladys McKinney of Asheville, NC, Eleanor McKinney of Asheville, NC, Sam McKinney (Madge) of Asheville, NC and James Edney McKinney (Peggy Sue) of Arden, NC.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
