He was predeceased by: his parent Chan C. Sawyer; and his siblings, Wilma Nelson, Charles Sawyer and Ray Sawyer. He is survived by: his parent Blanche Lunsford Sawyer; his wife Sara Shope Sawyer; his daughter Madeline Dillingham; and his grandchildren, Loren Hagearty and Kyle Dillingham. He is also survived by three great granddaughters; three nieces and two nephews.
