He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Trexler and Bessie McFee Trexler; his wife Betty Orr Trexler; his son Joel Eugene Trexler; and his siblings, Legia McPherson, Nell Morisetti, Mary Wilson, Rose Davis, Betty McCall, Buck Trexler, Ernest Trexler, Howard Trexler, Harold Trexler, Roby Trexler and Ted Trexler.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Trexler Levi of Candler and Jack Wesley Trexler, Jr. of Kingsport, TN; and his grandchildren, Scott Trexler, Kelly Trexler, Gerald Dugan Levi, Jr., Jon Wesley Levi, Jason Edward Levi, Jay Michael Trexler and Sam Wesley Trexler. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
