He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Anna Byrd and Daz Byrd; his wife Mattie Lucille Byrd; his sister-in-law Catherine Webb; and his children, Allan Byrd, Audrey Byrd Mosley, David Byrd, Donald Byrd, Carla Byrd and Timothy Byrd. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
