James E. King Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2020, at the age of 82, James E. King Sr. of Asheville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard King Sr. and Ruth Machen-King; his grandparents, Henry and Mamie Machen; his brothers, Howard King Jr. and Henry C. King, Sr.; and his son Tony M. King.
He is survived by: his wife Ketery Williams-King of Asheville, NC; his brother Gregory King (Lori); his children, Pamela King-Farquharson of Brooklyn, NY, James E. King Jr. (Grizelle) and Karlos King; his stepdaughter Dyneece Woods-Johnson; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Iheanacho (Felix), Christopher King, Dominique King, Aniya King, Jzaitia Oliver, Talija Oliver and Shaquia Oliver-Johnson (Jamal). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all attendees must wear a face covering and practice social distancing protocols.
